Meadows Racetrack and Casino

September 24 and 25 will be historic for Pittsburgh, but it will also be a good time to go explore areas around Pittsburgh rather then go to the city,itself. If you haven't heard the G20 summit will be in town. There will be loads of protestors and lots of police officers and secret service.
So why not travel to Washington county and enjoy a little Vegas casino action at the Meadows Racetrack and casino.
The Meadows is full of slots, scads of penny slots for the small gambler while offering a large variety for the braver person.
My all time favorite is Star Trek slot machine, where you can enter an id and continue your adventure on your next Meadows visit to earn medals to increase your rank. I am slowly working my way up the ranks.

Summer is here in the burg. Record breaking temperatures won't stop the Three Rivers Art Festival from happening at various points in the city. The Art Festival starts summer out for Pittsburghers and world wide artists. It is that time of year in the Burg. Hot! Hot! Hot! The Three Rivers Art Festival is full of great entertainment and exhibits. Don't let the weather keep you away.
